Problem Solving for connectivity

I NEED TO CHANGE MY ROUTER/SSID

Be sure to go to the systems settings tab and select 'Reset WiFi'. This will clear the ssid and password settings from the controller

I DIDN'T RESET THE WIFI BEFORE CHANGING ROUTER/SSID

Don't worry. There is a way round this. Put one of the probes into a mug of just boiled water and leave it there for a minute. Unplug the USB and transfer the probe into a mug of cool water to cool it down. Plug the USB back in and the unit will have cleared it's wifi settings

I PUT A PROBE INTO VERY HOT LIQUID

The controller has been designed to automatically clear SSID and password information if it detects a temperature over 65C. The chances are that you have cleared the wifi settings and will need to set-up again.

MY CONTROLLER WON'T GET THROUGH SET-UP

Check that your phone is connected to the same SSID as you are trying to set the controller up on. Some phones have the annoying habit of using mobile data connections if the signal is sub optimal - it is sometimes worth switching mobile data off during setup to avoid this.
